Founded in 2005 as NeuroSpring, with an initial focus on supporting research in the clinical neurosciences, our organization rebranded as xSpring in 2024 and expanded its mission to address other great challenges faced by humanity. We now present our ongoing work in neuroscience research and medical device development, NeuroSpring, alongside new programs in ecological research (EcoSpring) and nuclear disarmament (NuclearSpring).
Michael Coc
Dr. Coco is a pharmacologist by training with experience in basic science research and is a founding member of the organization. He works as a medical writer in Atlanta, Georgia. He has served as a Board member for 5 years and is a founding member of the organization.
Tamara Heaton-Wyrick, M.S., L.C.S.W.
Ms. Heaton-Wyrick received her Masters of Sciences in anthropology and is a practicing clinical social worker. One of the founding members, she has served as a Scientist and Board member throughout most of the organization's history.
Dekyi Lhamo, M.B.A.
Ms. Lhamo is a recent graduate of the University of California - Davis business school with a focus on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). She developed the transition plan for expanding xSpring's mission to include the major threats facing human.
Kevin Eapen, B.S.
Mr. Eapen works as our Junior Data Scientist at NeuroSpring. Since graduating from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, he has worked in the music industry on projects involving generative AI and natural language processing.
Emoni Lyons, B.S.
Ms. Lyons holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Pre-Medical concentration from Jackson State University. At NeuroSpring, she contributes to the development and evaluation of innovative biomedical technologies, offering scientific insight and clinical perspective. She is passionate about research and remains committed to continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of healthcare innovation.
Jeremy McLamb
Mr. McLamb serves as the Social Media Director at NeuroSpring. He has worked in marketing across multiple industries including transportation, insurance, real estate media, video games, and tech for almost a decade. During this time, he also founded a media and entertainment company that he would later take public on the NASDAQ.
